The Board for the Protection of Women: Why did nobody talk about them?

You’ve probably never heard of this Board.

It wasn’t covered in school exams. What isn’t talked about doesn’t exist.

This organisation ‘re-educated’ women who strayed from the National-Catholic morality imposed by Franco’s dictatorship. It began operating in 1941 and remained active until 1985, during the democratic era.

We’ll be discussing its appalling treatment of its inmates with some distinguished guests:
