WE ARE NOT
AN ORDINARY FESTIVAL

We are people from the neighborhood who grew up by the sea. We’ve had bands, we’ve rehearsed in garages, we’ve dreamed of playing at a festival like this. We set up the stages in four privileged locations in the Arrecife marina, in the open air. We go from one concert to the next in a parade, following an orchestra and an Elvis Presley who points the way with a giant yellow neon finger.

We program artists who play different styles of music and have an undeniable gift for connecting with audiences. Punk, dembow, rock, reggae, pop, metal, electronic… A bit of everything. We come from Africa, live on the southern border of Europe and have strong ties with America. Mixing is the law.

ON THE STREETS

SINCE 2013

The street is the extension of the corridor of our house, the common space where the community is built.

We were born in 2013 with the idea that musical culture could bring public space to life and reactivate the local economy of Arrecife, hard hit at the time by the economic crisis.

The experiment worked very well.
