Four magnificent of the Canarian scene gathered to give full play to a dream-indie-pop filled with psychedelic nuances and elegance. They are from Lanzarote and they will blow your neurons like comets in the wind.
They just signed with El Hombre Bala Records, won the Best Cover Design at the Canary Music Awards and were nominated for the Independent Music Awards. La Nave knows what is doing!
Virulent or tame melodies, always elegant. Its musical universe is fluctuating, but it has its roots in progressive rock and the most legendary pop. Their EP La Nave gives us a thousand and one nuances that show how great musical goldsmiths they are.
The thinking head is the musician and composer Alejandro Aguilar (voice, guitar and programming), ex of bands like Monday Faces, Faktótum or Cerrajeros Rock, author of soundtracks (Sin Barreras, Pistol). Seeing him on stage with his brother Samuel Aguilar (keyboards) are «big words», as Dirty Rock says. Samuel is a professor who teaches Composition at the Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands and an insatiable researcher of musical vanguards (he has composed pieces for contemporary dance, cinema, installations and emblematic spaces such as Jameos del Agua). Top.
You will remember José María Pérez (drums) for his strike power in Bazooka or for playing in bands like Nasty or Trestrece, regulars of the Madrid musical circuit. Bass player Samuel Peña, former Ciempiés ni Cabeza and Dinamo Sonora, complete this phenomenal quartet who had their debut performance at the 2017 Teguise Music Showcase and left a sideral aftertaste at festivals such as Sonidos Liquidos or Herofest .
