Si existe un trono del rock, Liza Colby es una firme candidata a  hacerse con la corona. El poderío de Tina Turner, el sonido  instrumental de Led Zeppelin, el carácter punky de una Daenerys  Targaryen neoyorkina… ¡Fuego a discreción!

Alec Morton (bajo), Tom McCaffrey (guitarra) y C.P.P. Roth (batería) llevan veinte años tocando  juntos, ​con estrellas como Ozzy Ousbourne, Suzanne Vega, Joey Ramone o Gloria Gaynor​. La  guinda a este trío formidable la pone una última incorporación: el guitarrista Jay Shepard, que ha  enriquecido la banda con una deliciosa psicodelia.

Liza es una frontwoman con todos los ingredientes para meterse al público en el bolsillo: una voz  privilegiada y un torbellino cuando sale a jugar sobre el escenario. Liza es aquí y ahora. Liza es  liberación, seducción y poder. ​Liza es la tormenta perfecta​.

La banda lleva una década haciéndose fuerte en Nueva York y este año -conquistada ya la Sala  Sol o la Razzmatazz- se lanza a su segunda gira europea con álbum nuevo bajo el brazo: ​Object  To Impossible Destination​ y un single para despeinarnos a todos (​Thunder Rolling​).

If there is a rock throne, Liza Colby is a strong candidate to take the crown.  The power of Tina Turner, the instrumental sound of Led Zeppelin, the punk character of the New Yorker Daenerys Targaryen … Fire at will!

Alec Morton (bass), Tom McCaffrey (guitar) and C.P.P.  Roth (drums) have been playing together for twenty years, with stars like Ozzy Ousbourne, Suzanne Vega, Joey Ramone or Gloria Gaynor.  The icing on this formidable trio is one last addition: the guitarist Jay Shepard, who has enriched the band with a delicious psychedelia.

Liza is a frontwoman with all the ingredients to have the audience eating out of her hand: a privileged voice and a whirlwind when she comes out to play on stage.  Liza is here and now.  Liza is liberation, seduction and power. Liza is the perfect storm.

The band has been strong in New York for a decade and this year – already conquered Sala Sol or Razzmatazz – launches its second European tour with new album under their arms: Object To Impossible Destination and a single  (Thunder Rolling) to dishevel your hair.
